Hannah House Maternity Home was founded in 2001 by Mr & Mrs Woodall. The Home is located on several acres in the peaceful countryside of East Texas and provides a home-like environment and place of new beginnings for mothers-to-be and their unborn babies. The quiet atmosphere provides the perfect place to slow down, reflect, begin to make necessary changes and grow. The charity helps to equip venerable mothers with skills and tools they need to make the best decisions for themselves and their children while they learn to function as part of a family. They Home welcomes women 18 years and older who truly desire to learn and work hard to change their circumstances for the better. Hannah House Maternity Home relies entirely on donations and does not receive any funding, so without the support of Robroy Industries and other local organizations and individual donations they would not be able to continue the important work that they do.

Ronald McDonald, Dallas, TX

Ronald McDonald House of Dallas exists to serve and sustain families when serious illness or injury strikes the most cherished part of their lives, their children. It is the only organization that provides a temporary home-away-from-home for families whose children are receiving treatment for a serious illness or injury at a Dallas area hospital. In an effort to lessen the burden, reduce stress, keep the family intact, and enhance the quality of life for these families, the RMHD provides affordable housing in a caring home-like atmosphere. The Ronald McDonald House program was built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest.
